History of the International industrial forum

2007 year

The 1st International Industrial Forum and Exhibition «Reconstruction of plants - breakthrough technologies in metallurgy and machine-building» was held on March 20-23, 2007.

Enterprises from 40 cities of Russia and 17 foreign companies from 11 countries - Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Estonia, Japan, USA, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Switzerland have participated in the Forum-exhibition.

111 reports at Plenary session of the Forum and the international conferences have been heard.

In the business program of the Forum-exhibition have taken place:

• Scientifically-practical seminar «Innovative technologies and the metalcutting equipment for machine-building»;
• Presentation of the Japanese project «Eko-town» - unique experience of Japan in the decision of environmental problems»;
• The creative project-action «The metallurgy Future in youth hands» is realised.

Representatives of the 165 companies from 28 cities of Russian Federation have visited the Forum-exhibition.

2009 year

The 2nd International Industrial Forum and Exhibition "Reconstruction of plants - breakthrough technologies in metallurgy and machine-building" was held on March 24-27, 2009 in the Congress Hall of the World Trade Center Chelyabinsk. It was dedicated to the competitive growth of metallurgical and machine-building companies, quality energy efficiency and ecological safety amid recession in economy.

85 companies, including 31 foreign companies, took part in the Forum: 12 companies from Japan, 8 - from the Czech Republic, 3 - from Germany, 3 - from Ukraine, and companies from Austria, USA, Finland, China, and the Republic of Belarus. More than 100 reports were presented at the International conferences of the Forum.

Traditionally, the International industrial exhibition «Metallurgy, machine-building, metal processing, innovations» was held as a part of the Forum, gathering 46 companies from Russia and foreign contries.

At conferences 73 reports have been made.

• The student`s action «The metallurgy Future in youth hands»
• Excursion to Chelyabinsk metallurgical plant

2010 year

On March, 23-26rd, 2010 in Chelyabinsk the Third International industrial forum "Reconstruction of plants - breakthrough technologies in metallurgy and machine-building", which basic subjects in 2010 - innovative technologies for quality assurance, energy efficiency and ecological safety and competitive growth of metallurgical and machine-building companies in the current conditions has taken place.

At opening ceremony of the Third international industrial Forum was the salutatory letter from the Deputy minister of the industry and trade of the Russian Federation in A.V.Dementev in whom he has congratulated all participants and organizers on opening of the Forum is read and has wished fruitful work and achievement of new successes in development of domestic metallurgy and mechanical engineering.

In ceremony of official opening of the Forum have taken part: the Minister of the industry and natural resources of the Chelyabinsk area V.A.Elistratov, a member of Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk area and the Chairman of board of directors of Open Society K.J.Zaharov Chelyabinsk factory "Teplopribor", the President of International Union "Metallurgmash" N.Pasechnik, Operating director Siemens VAI in Russia Andreas Lemp, the Head of Representation "Danieli&C.Officine Meccaniche S.p.A" in Moscow V.Tsukrov, the Deputy director of the Japanese Association of trade with Russia and new independent states Okada Kunio, Vice-president SMS Siemag AG Pino Teze, the Chief engineer of Open Society "CHMK" A.Levada and the President of World trade centre Chelyabinsk S.Ovchinnikov.

Within the limits of the business program of the Forum there has passed the International plenary conference "Innovative technologies for quality assurance, energy efficiency and ecological safety. Competitive growth of metallurgical and machine-building companies in the current conditions", and also a number of scientifically-practical conferences and round tables.

Excursion on Chelyabinsk metallurgical plant with visiting SPC-6, MNLZ-4 has been for all comers organised.

Many leading metallurgical and machine-building enterprises of the Chelyabinsk area and regions of Russia have taken part in the Forum, and also official and business delegations from Germany, Italy, Japan, the Czech Republic, China, Austria, Belarus.
